Michael Lovett – 4th Degree Chief Instructor (School owner)

“I started Choi Kwang Do at the age of 7 and trained with the late Mrs Georgina Tuvey for about 3 years – she had a brilliant approach to teaching. I got my first black belt at 10 years old As I got older I trained with Nathan Rose to become a assistant instructor.  From there I trained to become  a deputy master and then onto instructor. Now I am a school owner of M&R Choi Kwang Do.

I am very proud to be able to teach this martial art the way I was originally taught and hope carry on for many more years to come.”

Rebecca Green 3rd Degree Instructor (School owner)

“I started my Choi Kwang Do journey because of my children. My son has been training for 20 years and my daughter for 7 years. She has additional needs – I started to support her and loved it. I then trained to be an Assistant Instructor and then an instructor.

I now am co-school owner of M&R Choi Kwang Do with my son and feel blessed to teach and train with my family and feel very proud of of all our amazing students and school we run.”

Nathan Rose – 4th Degree, Head Instructor

“I first started Chio Kwang Do in 1999 where I trained with the late Mrs Georgina Tuvey who taught me to be an assistant instructor. Sadly Georgina passed away in 2006 and so her son Eric Tuvey took over. I then trained through him to become an instructor. I then heard M&R CKD school was opening in Norwich where I decided to help and stay.

I have gained so much experience while doing CKD, its made me more confident and enthusiastic.”

Caroline Roberts – 2nd Degree Head Instructor

“I have been part of Choi Kwang Do for over 10 years, working up from student, assistant instructor and instructor,

I have just graded up to 2nd degree which is something I thought I would never do but with the support of my school owners at M&R Choi Kwang Do I was able to achieve this.”
